The process flow is illustrated in the attached P&IDs and flowcharts.Butterfat is first melted and conditioned in the T100 process. During melting
citric acid is added at a dosage of 0,5 kg per 1.000 kg of butterfat. The melted product is then transferred through a preheater and heated to approximately 80–85 °C before entering the separation section. The melting and preheating equipment are excluded from the scope of supply.Prior to Separator #01
the butterfat is mixed with hot water for a washing step. Approximately 2.300 kg/h of butterfat is combined with 1.150 L/h of water at approximately 95 °C
